Virtual Launch for new book: Engaging the African Diaspora in K through 12 Education

The newly released book Engaging the African Diaspora in K through 12 Education, edited by UNC Associate Professor of African, African American, and Diaspora studies Kia Caldwell and Director of Equity and Justice at Duke School Emily Chávez, combines “the writings of leading scholars of the African diaspora with practical, hands-on tips and resources from middle and high school teachers and administrators.” The launch will be held on Thursday, July 30th from 7:00 to 8:30 pm EDT.
