Status of COVID-19 Vaccine in Africa

Co-hosted by UNC African Studies Center and the Institute for Global Health and Infectious Diseases. Panelists include:

  • Dr. Wessam Mankoula, MB.BCh (MD), MPP, FETP, Africa CDC Incident Manager for COVID-19, Lead of Emergency Operations Centre, Africa CDC, African Union
  • Dr. Lloyd Mulenga, BSc, MBChB, MSc, MMed, PhD, Professor, Infectious Disease and Internal Medicine, University Teaching Hospital, Lusaka, Zambia, Director of Infectious Diseases for the Ministry of
    Health, Zambia
