The Concilium on Southern Africa (COSA) at Duke University will host a discussion of the introductory chapter of Lauren Jarvis’s book project in progress, A Prophet of the People: Isaiah Shembe and the Making of a South African Church. The discussion will include faculty and graduate students at Duke and UNC as well as guests from other institutions.  Please review the introductory chapter before attending the meeting.  Meeting Zoom link below.
